Medeco Skin Cancer Clinic is a Mixed billing clinic.

Parents MUST contact the surgery for Medeco's appointment policy in regards to Skin checks for children under the age of 16.

If you have any flu like symptoms please contact us by phone if you have an appointment or visiting our clinic for further instructions.

Mask wearing is recommended in our Medical Centre. If you are experiencing any acute respiratory symptoms please ensure you are wearing a mask.

For social distancing purposes and for the safety of our vulnerable patients, doctors and staff it is the policy of the practice that appointments are to be attended by the patient only unless a carer is required or you have young children. Please do not arrive any earlier than 5 minutes prior to your appointment time.

Please be patient when you are attempting to contact the practice as reception staff are dealing with an unprecedented number of enquiries.

Please show respect and understanding when dealing with the reception staff as the Practice cannot tolerate rudeness or aggression towards them as they are only performing their role as required by the Doctors and the Practice guidelines.

Due to the clinic's extremely busy schedules and waiting period for an appointment, it is the policy of the practice that if you do not attend your appointment or cancel your appointment with 24hrs notice a fee of $55.00 with be incurred and another appointment will not be made until this account is paid.

Zero Tolerance of Abuse

Medeco Skin Cancer Clinic has a ZERO TOLERANCE approach for abusive and/or threatening behaviour towards the doctors, staff or other patients in the event you are not in agreeance with the surgery's Policy and Procedures. This includes shouting, swearing, aggressive actions, threats, inappropriate gestures and name calling.

We respectfully advise you that abuse and/or violence will not be tolerated.

All our staff are here to try their best to provide you with help and support, you will be treated with courtesy and respect at all times. In return, we ask that you and anyone that you bring with you to the Practice treat our administrative and clinical staff with the same courtesy and respect.

If a patient or anyone a patient brings with them to the Practice, is abusive, aggressive or violent towards doctors, our staff and/or other patients they will have their appointment cancelled immediately and will be required to leave the clinic.

If patients do not adhere to the practice Policy and Procedures at all times you will be discharged from the clinic's care and you will need to transfer your care to another practice.

Refusal to leave will result in the police being called.
